epätoivon paita ja kevään airut / the shirt of despair and the first of spring

Olen ollut ihan väsynyt. Kehoni armoilla. Ei mitään vakavaa tai edes sairastelua, kunhan muuten vaan kovaa (hormonaalista) menoa.( Yhyy, uliuli...)
Aloin ommella tätä paitaa vain ihan silkasta epätoivosta, kun tuntui etten enää ikinä jaksa mitään. Kaikki meni ompelumielessä aivan kokonaan pieleen, enkä vieläkään käsitä millä sitkeydellä rutistin paidan loppujen lopuksi käyttövaatteeksi asti.
Olen kahden vaiheilla oliko moinen sekopäinen sinnikyys huono vai hyvä juttu. Olikohan tämä nyt sellainen hengen voitto materiasta? Vai höhlää jästipäisyyttä? Parempi olo jo kuitenkin.

Mutta: Tätä tulin oikeasti näyttäämään! Kevään ensimmäinen siili! Herännyt! Pörheä!
Söpöinpiä keväisiä näkyjä: kankeakoipinen siili konkkaa lehtikasaan sapuskaa etsimään.

( Alin kuva on epätarkka, mutta siihen on kerrankin syy: en hennonut mennä kovin lähelle, enkä jäädä kuvaamaan kuin pieneksi hetkeksi, ettei pikkueläin häiriinny. Mutta sillä oli hyvin (söpö) likinäköinen katse.)

This hedgehog is the thing i wanted to show you today! The first of spring. So very stiff yet, and slow, and tired. ( Just like me lately!)
The children found it on their way home from school. It´s the same spot we have seen them waking up the previous years.
The pictures are not very sharp, but this time i have a real excuse for it: we didn´t want to disturb the sleepy animal. But i can tell you, it had the sweetest sort of nearsighted look in it´s eyes. And it is just so super cute to see a just recently woken up hedgehog limping around, winterstiffness still in it´s limbs.

The shirt above is a masterpiece of desperate sewing, a model piece of horrible sewing solutions and tired thinking (= not thinking). I just got so tired of beeing tired ( hormones, need i say more...), and also felt like maybe i never ever anymore have energy for anything. So i made a shirt for Liisu. In agony and despair, and with sheer, crazy determination. I don´t know if it´s the best motivation for sewing, but i do feel a bit better now.
